There has been several influences while researching for a toaster’s design. However, our main idea was to create something minimal, simple and easy-to-use. The research has focused mainly on small kitchen appliances and other electronic devices as well as kitchen utensils. The following images show the different ideas that have been considered in terms of size, color, materials and shape, among others.
As for the brand selection we have decided to design the toaster for Braun, as their products match most of the requirements and ideas that we are looking forward to include in our proposal. This brand has also experience regarding kitchen appliances as well as many other electronic devices.
